Principal's Message

Dear Royal Palm Families,
As we welcome a new year and a fresh semester, I want to take a moment to thank you for your ongoing partnership in supporting your child’s education. The start of a new year brings renewed energy, fresh goals, and an opportunity to finish the school year strong. Together, we continue to create an environment where every student can thrive and achieve their best potential.
Regular and on-time attendance is critical and highly encouraged. Every instructional minute matters and being present and on time sets students up for success. Please make every effort to have your students to school on time each and every day.
Our food pantry continues to meet the needs of our families and students. Allowing greater access to both perishable and non-perishable items. We also continue to distribute fresh produce each month. Please review the school calendar for the monthly distribution dates.
Our PM 2 assessment results are in, and we are excited to share that the data shows we are on the right trajectory. The growth we are seeing is a direct reflection of the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers, and the support you provide at home. Together, we are moving in the right direction.

While we celebrate these achievements, we remain committed to continuous improvement. We recognize that each child’s learning journey is unique, and our goal is to ensure that every student feels supported and empowered to succeed.
PM 2 score reports are now available and can be accessed through FOCUS via the Parent Portal App. These reports provide valuable insight into your child’s progress and will help guide our instruction moving forward.
As we move into this new semester, here are some ways you can help reinforce your child’s learning at home:
- Encourage Daily Reading: Set aside time for your child to read independently or together as a family.
- Practice Math Skills: Engage your child in everyday math activities, counting, multiplication, and division activities.
- Open Communication: Keep an open line of communication with your child’s teacher to stay informed about their progress.
- Utilize iReady: Encourage daily usage of your scholar’s iReady Learning Path.
We are excited about the possibilities that this new semester brings. Our dedicated teachers and staff are here to provide a supportive and enriching learning experience for every student. Thank you for your trust and collaboration in making our school a thriving learning community.
Let’s make this semester one of growth, learning, and success for all! Together, we will continue to push forward and finish the year strong - every student, every day, whatever it takes.
With appreciation,
Ms. Rumble
Principal
